Waties Island is a 2.7 mile private undeveloped barrier island at the border of North and South Carolina. Under a permit from SC Department of Natural Resources to help protect the sea turtle, we are at it again this season! A Crawl on the Beach
The only crawl on the beach today was... not a sea turtle, but what appears to be an Eastern Garter snake, and a fairly good sized one at that. You can read more info about these snakes at the link below.
